Amy is a Brooklyn based artist who was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe. She studied classical ballet at Baltimore School for the Arts and University of North Carolina School of the Arts and upon graduating from high school she furthered her ballet studies as an apprentice with Charlotte Ballet and as a trainee with Richmond Ballet.

She has worked professionally with The Suzanne Farrell Ballet, Eugene Ballet, BalletNext, and as a guest artist with Aspen Santa Fe Ballet. She currently freelances in New York City with a few companies including MorDance, Movement Headquarters, Traverse City Dance Project, and Gleich Dances, and she is the co-founder and co-director of konverjdans (con-verge-dance), a Brooklyn based contemporary ballet company that focuses on intimate collaborations with artists of different mediums.
